All-Inclusive Wedding Packages Near San Antonio: What They Really Cost

Every couple who books a tour with us eventually asks the same question, usually about ten minutes in: "So what does all-inclusive actually mean here?"

It's a fair question. "All-inclusive" gets used loosely in the wedding world. Sometimes it means tables and chairs. Sometimes it means a coordinator will text you the week of. So let me answer it plainly for The Abbott House — a historic 1895 Victorian mansion in Seguin, about 35 minutes east of San Antonio — with real numbers, so you can compare us honestly against everywhere else on your list.

What our wedding packages actually cost

Four options, and none of them are a mystery.

Courtyard Vows — $3,700 weekend / $3,200 weekday. Eight hours on property, ceremony in the courtyard, reception in the banquet hall, tables and chairs, and — this is the part people miss — setup and breakdown. You are not stacking chairs at midnight in your wedding dress.

The Grand Gala — $5,400 weekend / $4,700 weekday. Everything above plus table decor from our in-house collection and the bridal suite and groom's lounge for getting ready.

The Royal Wedding — $10,700 weekend / $8,700 weekday. Ten hours, ceremony decor and arch, your bridal shoot, an officiant, a day-of coordinator, a three-hour open bar, and rehearsal dinner space.

The Dream Wedding — $22,000, truly all-inclusive. Twelve hours, 100 guests included, additional guests $99 each. This is the one where you show up and get married.

Add-ons, if you'd rather build it yourself: catering $30–48 per person, coordination $800, three-hour open bar $25 per person, DJ $800, officiant $300, photo and video $1,000 for four hours, decor $1,500, florals $2,500, arch $350, photo booth $500, extra hours $125.

Here's the math nobody does for you: take the Grand Gala and add catering, bar, coordination, DJ, florals, decor, an officiant, photo and video for 100 guests à la carte, and you land right around $24,000 — for less than the Dream Wedding includes. All-inclusive at The Abbott House is not the expensive option. It's usually the cheaper one, and it's certainly the calmer one.

Why couples near San Antonio choose all-inclusive

Because of the group chat.

Piecing a wedding together means you become the project manager of nine vendors who have never met each other. You are the one confirming the linen count, chasing the DJ's contract, explaining to the florist where the arch goes, and hoping everyone shows up at the right time on a Saturday you only get once.

When it's all under one roof, that whole job disappears. One contract. One point of contact. One team that already knows this house — where the light falls in the courtyard at 6:30, which corner of the banquet hall the cake should live in, how long it takes to flip the space between ceremony and dinner. We've done it hundreds of times. You've done it never, and you shouldn't have to.

What we tell every bride: you send us the Pinterest board, and we build it. That's the actual service. Not square footage — relief.

What's included that other venues charge extra for

• Setup and breakdown. Both. Included in every package, even the smallest one.

• Our in-house decor and silk florals. A serious collection — centerpieces, candles, arch drapery, table settings. Most couples never rent a thing.

• Vendor help. If you want outside vendors, we'll point you to the ones we trust and coordinate with them. (Outside catering carries a $500 fee for weddings and quinceañeras.)

• The house itself. Twelve-foot ceilings, four fireplaces, seven porches, a turret, pocket doors, and original stained glass. Your photos are already beautiful before anyone does anything.

We host 10 to 175 guests — the courtyard seats about 150, the banquet hall comfortably holds 100-plus for dinner. Small and intimate works here just as well as full and loud.

What "near San Antonio" really means

Seguin is 35 minutes from downtown San Antonio on I-10, about an hour from Austin. Far enough that your wedding doesn't feel like it's happening in a parking lot, close enough that nobody has to take a day off to get there. Guests drive in, celebrate, and are home the same night — and for the ones traveling farther, there are a handful of rooms on property so your family isn't scattered across town.

Being outside the city is also why our numbers look the way they do. A comparable historic mansion inside Loop 410 would start at nearly double.

We believe a wedding day is the beginning of a covenant, not the signing of a contract — and we pray over every couple who books here.
